“No disk in drive insert disk \device\harddisk4\dr4”

I had this message when compiling a software with MSYS/MinGW. It repeatedly popped a window with this message: “No disk in drive insert disk \device\harddisk4\dr4”. When clicking ‘continue’ each time this window appeared, the compilation finished normally.

I had an mbed controller which appears as a USB drive. Removing it and rebooting Windows apparently solved the problem: the compilation now works without this window popping everytime.
